I became accredited in early 2009 and have enjoyed delivering courses. My teaching style is relaxed and informal and very much driven and inspired by my personal experience of life and the mindfulness techniques used in courses. I have a particular interest in how mindfulness can be taught to and used by those people living and dealing with stress anxiety and depression.
I am constantly expanding my practice of Mindfulness and adding to my qualifications to teach Mindfulness to adult:.I have completed a one year training in Mindfulness and Compassion with the Mindfulness Association, and have been trained by Chris Germer and Kristin Neff to deliver their 8 week course of Mindful Self Compassion (MSC)
I have always wished I had learned to practice Mindfulness when I was much younger and that has led me to train with The Mindfulness in Schools Project in the UK. I am certified to teach the following curricula:
